Veniza Virar vs St Joseph ends 2-2, DK Pharma & Rhino FC share the spoils
MSSA, Mumbai: Rhino FC and DK Pharma were involved in a 1-1 draw in their Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA), First Division match held at MSSA ground, on Sunday, March 26th, 2017.
Rhino FC and DK Pharma were involved in a 1-1 draw as both teams shared a point at the end of an evenly contested match. For Rhino FC No.16 Byrain was on target and his goal was cancelled by his opposite No.16 Ajay Shelar for DK Pharma. The match failed to produce a winner thanks to some disciplined defending from both sides. The keepers had very little to do but made a few crucial saves.
In the other First Division match at the MSSA Ground, Venezia Virar and St Joseph were involved in a 2-2 draw. A thrilling match, to say the least, both teams produced some attacking football. Rahul Bhosale and Akshay Poojari were on target for the Virar side. Their goals were cancelled out by Reynold Murzello and Vicky D’Souza.
This match had the same fate as the previous one ending in a draw with both teams walking away with one point each. FT: Venezia Virar 2-2 St Joseph.
