Soccerstar Premier League
The Soccerstar Premier League is 5-a-side rink football league for men’s football clubs.
Contested by 40 clubs,  for the Season 2016. A tournament that just doesn’t end with the prize money and trophies, however, scouts best players from the arena and offers them a platform to perform in the MDFA – Mumbai District Football Association’s Leagues and other MDFA affiliated leagues.
“SPL” started in the month of October &  Teams and played 9 matches each (playing each team from the group), totalling 180 matches in the season.

SPL‘ is a Brainchild of two people Ajit Sawant (Owner of Soccerstar Arena) as well as the MDFA’s third division team Rudra which will be participating in MDFA 2016-17 Third division league and Xavier D’souza.

Out of the 40 teams, 6 teams were of Franchisee. Approx. 450 Players from all over Mumbai gave trials for the league.
and 60 Best Talent were selected for Franchisee teams.
SPL consists of 40 teams Divided into 4 groups A, B, C, D. Each team can Register 15 players. The format was 5+5 Total Players participated were 600 numbers.
Popular teams like Maccabi Tel Aviv, Celtic-Rangers, Boombastic, MYJ, Millat FC, Galvankars, UFC have participated as well as Corporate Teams like First Source, Accenture, General Mills were also a part of it.

After two and half months of Fights in the Ring, 8 teams got qualified for the Quarter Finals.
