Sea View S.C accomplished a 2-0 win over Sterling Das F.A
2nd January 2017, Mumbai: Substitutes Varun P.V & Angelo Fernandes scored each for Sea View S.C in blue against Sterling Das F.A in green as they now stand in the 3rd place with 14 points in total from Group A in their Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) First Division match which was held on Monday 2nd January at Goans Ground.
The first half of the game went goalless as both Sea View S.C and Sterling Das F.A played a very competitive football which saw a very good attacking as well as the defensive style of play.
In the 60th minute of the second half Saurabh Dongre Jersey no.13 from the right wings crossed in a low ball which was found by substitute Varun P.V Jersey no.11 who taps it in past the keeper to give the team in blue their first goal of the game.
As it wasn’t enough a penalty in the 74th minute by Agnelo Fernandes made it two against Sterling Das F.A as he confidently steps in to make double the lead followed with a full-time scoreline of 0-2 in favour of the blue team as the trailing side now stand 7th in Group A with 3 points just above the relegation zone.
