MDFA: Steadfast A edge Bombay Gym Colts with Injury time winner
FC Indian outclass PIFA Colaba U17 team while in other game Tyson Patel strikes a brace to give Steadfast a come from behind win
1st Division:
In an entertaining game, FC India outclassed PIFA U17 4-1 to make it two wins in a row. Hrishikesh Balaji struck in the 7th minute to send FC India in to lead but Deavy Songara equalised four minutes later to bring PIFA back into the game. Soon Jayesh Parmar made it 2-1 as PIFA took momentum of the game in to the break. However things changed in 2nd half and FC India came strong with Ashley Koli striking the equaliser before Sanath Valladares made it 3-2 as FC India took the lead for second time in the game. PIFA looked for another comeback with a late equaliser but Sherwin Pereira struck a fourth goal for FC India in the closing minutes to finish the game

In another game, Steadfast (A) sneaked to a win with a injury time winner against Bombay Gym Colts to start off their campaign in style. Shahnawaz Khan struck a 10th minute goal to send Bombay Gym Colts ahead however Tyson Patel brought things to level terms with a 23rd minute strike as both sides entered the break. In the second half, end to end football ensued but just when it looked like the match is headed for a draw, Tyson came up with another goal in the injury time to complete a comeback victory for Steadfast A

3rd Division:
In third division game, Alpha Football Academy edged FC Cosmos to make group L interesting. Led by Los Galacticos at top spot with 13 points, Alpha FA with their third win now stands at second place with 10 points. But there are three teams following behind with a game or two in hand and just 3-4 points separating them. Nimish Pawar’s 20th minute strike proved just enough as Alpha secured a crucial win.
Game 1: FC Cosmos 0 – 1 Alpha FA (Nimish Pawar 20’)
In another game, Eleven star FC suffered a narrow loss to 7B Star Sports Club, Girish Bisht struck a second half goal to help 7B pick their first win of the season.
Game 2: Eleven star FC 0 – 1 7B Star Sports Club (Girish Bisht 35’)
