MDFA: Guruprasad strikes hat-trick in RSF (B) win

A hat-trick from Guruprasad takes RSF (B) through to a comprehensive 4-2 win while in other game Carmelites Sports club edge Blitz Kriez to secure their 1st win

1^st Division:

After starting with two losses, Carmelites S.C. finally edged to a win beating Blitz Kriez 1-0. A 52^nd minute goal from Hitesh Bamaniya sealed the deal for Carmelites S.C as they took all three points with a solitary goal win.

Game 1: Blitz Kriez 0 – 1 Carmelites S.C. (Hitesh Bamaniya 52’)

A hat-trick from Guruprasad Borhade took RSF B team to a hard fought 4-2 victory over IDBI. After a goal less first half, It was IDBI that took the lead in the second when Ankush Kadam hit the net in the 55^th minute. However a minute later, RSF B equalised through Guruprasad’s first of the day. Three minutes later, Guruprasad made it 2-1 with his second strike before Irshad struck a third of the team in the 66^th minute to make it 3-1. But the game wasn’t over yet as IDBI hit back two minutes later through Laxman Dalvi reducing the deficit to one. IDBi attacked aggressively in the final moments of the game in search of equaliser but it was RSF B that came out with the goal as Guruprasad struck his third to seal the deal for RSF B.

Game 2: RSF (B) (Guruprasad Borhade 56’, 59’, 79’, Irshad Shah 66’) 4 – 2 IDBI (Ankush Kadam 55’, Laxman Dalvi 68’)

2^nd Division:

In the first game, Sahar Silver Stars edge Naval Dockyard to make it three wins in four games and second spot in the group G table. Subin Varughese struck the only goal of the game almost at the half hour mark to give Sahar Silver Stars SC a 1-0 win.

Game 3: Sahar Silver Stars 0 – 1 Naval Dockyard (Subin Varughese 29’)

In another 2^nd division fixture, Sagar SC played out a goal less draw against Dadar XI (B) to reach the top spot in group A table. They are on nine points alongside TPS (Grey Athletic) but have a better goal difference.

Game 4: Sagar SC 0 – 0 Dadar XI (B)
