3rd Division
Castle Boys 3-0 Liyakat FC
The game was a slow starter as both the teams could hardly create any chances in the first few minutes but the game sprung to life when Gerald put Castle Boys ahead on the 25th-minute mark and from there on there was no stopping them. Gerald then doubled the lead for the Castle Boys on the 39th-minute mark and Calvin made it 3-0 soon after.
Kasturba FC 0-6 O’Sheish FC
O’Sheish FC got off to the best of starts as Abdulaziz Khatri opened the scoring on the 6th-minute mark. Zainnudin Shaikh doubled their lead soon after. Amit Raj made it 3-0 for O’Sheish as they ended the half in a perfect manner. They piled the pressure on the Kasturba defence in the second half and they succumbed to it scoring two own goals as a result. Aatif Gazani put the icing on the cake making it 6-0.
SRS Sporting 3-0 Creek View FC
Creek View were left stunned as SRS Sporting’s No.7, Ashish Dhage weaved his magic on them. Ashish Dhage was the hero of the match as he scored a brilliant hat-trick leaving the opposition defence on the floor and Creek View FC were left searching for answers.
IFA 1-1 CSL
IFA opened the scoring in the 29th minute of the game as Jaimin Damankar skipped past the CSL defence and put the ball in the back of the net. CSL equalised at the start of the second half as Ravindra Sonar scored a beautiful goal. The game ended on equal terms as there was no separating these two teams.
IFS Cooperage 0-0 South Mumbai United
The game started on a bright note as both teams went close but couldn’t score. As the game settled down, the chances became hard to come by as all the strikers had were the half chances but they were easy gatherings for the keepers. 0-0 was the obvious score line for this game as both the defences gave an excellent display.
