MDFA 3rd Division: Kunal wins it for TSA against Alfa FA

While TSA grabbed all 3 points against Alfa FA, Worli SC, Stark FC, Veer Engineering and others pick up solitary points with draws in today’s fixture of MDFA 3rd division.

The opening game of the day was between The Soccer Academy and Alfa FA. After a cagey first half, both teams went aggressive in search of a goal. Riyaz Razi and Z Ali picked up yellow cards in the process for their respective teams. However, Kunal Landge’s 44th minute strike proved to be the winning goal as TSA went home with all 3 points.

Game 1: The Soccer Academy (Kunal Landge 44’) 1 – 0 Alfa FA

The second game of the day ended in a draw with both teams scoring a goal apiece. Omkar Mahajan opened the scoring for FC Mithagar which was nullified by Harsh Valke’s strike for Stark FC ten minutes later.

Game 2: FC Mithagar (Omkar Mahajan 8’) 1 – 1 Stark FC (Harsh Valke 18’)

The mid-afternoon game between Xmens Sports Academy and Worli SC turned out to be an dull affair as neither side could managed to break the deadlock.

Game 3: Xmens Sports Academy 0 – 0 Worli SC

The final game of the day was between Veer Engg. and PD Hinduja Hosp. SC. What started out a 22 – player game, ended with 20 players on the field, Ajay Solanki and Krish Parekh were sent off by referee O’Niel K as the game reduced to 10 man affair for each teams. The match ultimately ended in a draw with the 2 red cards being the only limelight of the game.
