MDFA 1st division: Tarun Sporting open campaign with 8-2 win over Kenkre U17
Tarun Sporting opened their 1st division campaign with a resounding 8-2 win over Kenkre U17 team with Benjamin Zolar scoring a hattrick in the process
1st Division:
Tarun Sporting went ahead after just five minutes of start when Kushal Meher struck the opening goal to open the flood gates. Aizul Goyan doubled the lead in the 16th minute before Benjamin struck his first of the day six minutes later to make it 3-0. Ansh Bhansali pulled one back for Kenkre minutes after the game reached half hour mark. Olivar restored the three goal lead for Tarun Sporting moments before half time break.
Second half began with Tarun Sporting continuing from where they left off with Benjamin Zolar finding the net in the 46th minute to make it 5-1. However Mehul Solanki struck the second goal for Kenkre around the hour mark to make it 5-2. Soon Tarun Sporting hit back with flurry of attacks finding the net three times in the space of ten minutes. Dinesh Powar found the net in the 66th minute to make it 6-2 before Abdul Kadar made it a five goal lead in the 71st minute. Five minutes later, Benjamin Zolar completed his hat-trick before the game ended at 8-2 score line.
