First Ever MDFA Awards Night to grace Cooperage after a successful 2016-17 season

Mumbai: After a breath-taking 2016-17 season, the MDFA plans to appreciate the winners, runner-ups, third place, individual awards from every division in order to celebrate their success. The MDFA Awards Night is all about felicitating the winning teams and most importantly reward to best players in each position from their respective divisions.

The game of football has taken a huge leap in the past year. In fact in the past two years. Team India’s latest ranking coming up to 100th is a big statement of intent and we hope that the development of this sport keeps going on in the future as well. As we all know that the MDFA Divisions start from Elite, Super, 1st, 2nd and then the 3rd Division. Every division had a close contest and the best teams have come out on top. While there can only be one winner, the runner-ups need not lose hope and can try better next season.

The Chairman, President and Executive Committee of the Mumbai District Football Association are the ones to applaud for taking this initiative.
