7th edition Go Green Cup 2017 – Finale
We hope you had some amazing time in the first five days of the Go Green Cup 2017. Well, it’s not atime to sit back and go through the results of the final; day. Champions were crowned while some hearts were broken. But in the end, the spirit of football made the final day a huge hit.
Under-8 Semifinal 1
- Jordan’s only goal was enough for Stanislaus Blue to beat the FFA Red and enter the final.
Under-8 Semifinal 2
- Don Bosco beat the Scottish Devils 3-2 in a nail biting penalty shootout to enter the final.
Under-8 FINAL
- The Stanislaus Boys reigned supreme in the U8 category with a brace from Jordan D to beat Don Bosco 2-0.
Under-10 Semifinal 1
- Kooh OLPS beat the HFS Kooh Sports U10 3-0 with a man of the match performance from Aryan Vanjari.
Under-10 Semifinal 2
- FFA Blue won a goal-fest by 4-2 defeating the Panthers to enter the Final. A brace from Kahan proved to be the vital factor.
Under-10 FINAL
- Kooh OLPS U10 emerged the Champions in the U10 category as they beat FFA Blue in a thriller of a match winning 4-3. Aryan Vanjari’s brace was the highlight of this final.
Under-12 Semifinal 1
- A brace from Harsh Palande proved to be pivotal in the Bosco Strikers 3-0 win over Jaguars XE.
Under-12 Semifinal 2
- Joshua Mendes was instrumental yet again guiding his team Jaguar XF to a 1-0 win over the Stanislaus Boys U12 thus entering the final.
Under-12 FINAL
- The Bosco Strikers were the Champions in the U12 category beating the Jaguars XF 2-0 on penalties.
Under-14 Semifinal 1
- A sensational brace from Moksh Surve earned his side Ironborn Phoenix a place in the final.
Under-14 Semifinal 2
- Goals from Shane, Atharva, Nathan and Aryaman lead the Ironborn Giants into the final with a 4-0 win over Youth Soccer Academy.
Under-14 FINAL
- Ironborn Giants were crowned champions in the U14 category beating Ironborn Phoenix 3-2 in a thrilling penalty shootout.
Under-16 FINAL
- Youth Soccer Academy held their nerves in a nail-biting penalty shootout to beat Don Bosco 3-2 & lift the winner’s trophy.
Under 14 GIRLS
- Lion King Welfare Trust emerged 3-0 winners over the Fire Birds with goals from Kyra, Ahir and Tanisha.
And with that, the Go Green Cup 2017 ended with the prize distribution marking another year’s success. Thank you to all the parents and the wonderful kids who made this event possible. Hoping for a bigger and better Go Green Cup Event next year.
