Father Agnel’s are the new champions of RCF Premier Cup Women’s Category.

Father Agnel's

On 18th December 2016, at RCF Colony, Women’s category played their final match of Father Agnel’s vs Bodyline, amongst the eight participated teams in the RCF Premier Cup. This is the first time they have introduced Women’s Category along with the Under 14 age category to promote football amongst women’s and the youth.

Teams like Kenkre, Bodyline, Father Agnel, Steadfast, Rhino, Campaneros, Football Leaders & Football School of India participated with their Women’s teams to showcase their talent.

Father Agnel’s and Bodyline came out to be the best out of the rest of the eight teams in the Women’s category, which brought the two to the finals. Both the teams played a competitive game and the game ended in a fulltime scoreline of 1-1, own goal from Father Agnel’s placed the Bodyline in the lead during the first half however, an equaliser from Jyothi Mehra with an assist from Pranali Shetty during the second half lifted up the team at par with Bodyline cancelling the own goal pushing the game towards a tie-breaker where Father Agnel’s overcame Bodyline with a score line of 4-3 in penalties.

Congratulating Father Agnel’s on winning the first time organised RCF Premier Cup (Women’s Category) 2016 also wishing them luck to keep inspiring other women’s in the coming future of Women Football. A well-deserved appreciation for Father Agnels’ Coaches Suprith Jathana and Jerome Dias as well as Bodyline’s Coach Mr Marshal.
