MSSA Round up: 25th July, 2016

There were a total of six matches that took place at the St Xavier’s Ground, Parel on Monday, 25th July 2016. Once again Football Counter has it covered for you.
The action at Parel started with Bombay Scottish School (B) from Mahim winning 3-0, beating Gyan Kendre Secondary School in the Boys U-16, 3rd Division Group A match. Sarabjyot Chawla, Utkarsh Mishra and Ojas Tripathi were on target for the Bombay Scottish School team.
St. Mary’s School (ICSE) (A) from Mazagaon beat Bombay Scottish School (A) from Mahim by 1-0 with Aayush Murudeshwar scoring the winning goal in the 1st Division Group B match.
Gokuldham High School from Goregaon set a record for most goals in a match this season scoring eight past St Mary’s High School (ICSE) (B) from Mazagaon also managing to keep a clean sheet in the 3rd Division Group F match. Shushurut Kenkre was the man of the match scoring a hattrick. Rohil Damankar complemented him with a brace. Tanush Kala and Pranav Ghane were the other goal scorers for Gokuldham.
To follow up with a goal fest we had to narrow 1-0 wins coming up next in the 1st Division Group B matches. St Stanislaus High School from Bandra beat St Francis D’Assisi High School (A) from Borivali 1-0 with Marven Pereira scoring the only goal. Don Bosco High School from Borivali beat St Lawrence High School from Kandivali by 1-0. Parval Sankhe scored the winning goal.
Rounding off a busy and thrilling day, St Francis D’Assisi High School (B) from Borivali shared the spoils with Hill Spring International School from Tardeo with a 0-0 draw.
