MSSA Round-up for Thursday, 17 November 2016

17th November 2016: On Thursday, over eleven matches took place at Goans Ground, Churchgate, and St. Francis D’Assisi High School Ground, Borivali. The one which stood out of the eleven matches played was easily Diamond Jubilee High School (B) vs Nalanda Public School which saw Diamond Jubilee scoring eight past their counterpart.

Here is the Round-up of the whole day:

Goans Ground:

Haroon Khan recorded the most goals today as he notched up four goals for Diamond Jubilee High School (B) in their 8-0 win against Nalanda Public School in Boys U-14 Division IV. Apart from Haroon’s heroics, Hussain Attarwala, Noor Muhammad, Gandhi Moinuddin, and Chand Siddiqui scored one goal each. The ‘A’ side of  Diamond Jubilee High School also ran out as winners after a comfortable 3-0 victory over Gurunanak High School (Dadar) ‘A’ at Goans.

In the other game of U-14 Division I, Neel Kadam guided St. Pius High School ‘A’ (Mulund) to victory after scoring two of their three goals to register a 3-2 victory over St. Xavier’s Boy’s Academy (Marine Lines).

St. Francis D’Assisi High School Ground:

In Boys U-14 Division IV, Parle Tilak Eng. Med. (Vile Parle) registered a thumping 5-0 victory over M.K.E.S. English School (Malad) in a one-sided game. Pratham Mishra, Ruke Anirudh, Atharva Dhuri, Amey, and Devank Sule scored apiece to complete a resounding victory.

In the other game, Hiranandani Foundation (IGCSE) (Powai) romped past Beat Rajhans Vidyalaya (A) (Andheri W) after a thunderous performance by Ali Baig who scored all the four goals in this Under-14 Boys Division IV.
