Mumbai Port Trust score three past Rehma in a game of swinging fortunes.

Rehma SF put up yet another brilliant show but failed to yield anything out of this game as Mumbai port trust scored 3 goals in the last 20 minutes of the game. Rehma SF played very compact football in the first half. Rhema’s Goalkeeper Huzefa had a mixed day as he kept away MPT strikers at bay with a few brilliant saves, at the other end MPT goalkeeper Supratin was on top of his game and denied Rehma strikers brilliantly with his quick reflexes. At half time both teams had not been able to break the deadlock.
The second half started with both the teams getting their pep talks and it showed on the game with a few top-notch efforts at the hour mark Rehma accelerated their attack on MPT but Supratin’s brilliant double saves were the highlight, Supratin got injured in the process with a head injury and was taken off the field in the 61st minute. This injury break gave some breathing time to both teams but it was MPT who made the most of it with Hiren Dhannu scoring the first goal to give MPT the lead. It was no looking back from there on as Khwanjnov Pirie slotted into the empty net after Huzefa’s save was in Pirie’s way who made no mistake. Ubaid Ansari scored the third in the 80th minute to take the tally to 3-0. With the game almost over and a comfortable lead, MPT got carried away as Kiran Jadhav scored from 40 yards out for Rehma’s consolation for the day.
