MDFA DIV I : Contenders for Superleauge spot

MDFA DIV I season set to go underway as participating clubs eyes promotion to super leauge

Football fever  is all set to rope in to the hub of the city as MDFA’S  Divison I is all set to kick off from 1st of September. We at Football counter present you top clubs who will be fighting for the spot in Super Divison.

Last year Resvere Bank of India gained promotion to super leauge by defating HDFC  in final of 2015-16.Abhishek Ambekar’s solo effort 4 minutes before the final whistle  sealed the deal for Resvere Bank of India.In routeto final they  also defeated  Century Rayon in the penultimate stage last season.While on the other side HDFC  managed to get promotion through Play offs  by beating Consultus-Chheda Nagar Prodigies 1-0. However in the final they lost to eventual champions Reserve  Bank of India .

In this season there ll be  51 no of teams participating in MDFA  DIV I  to gain promotin in super leauge . In Group E  Last year’s semi final runerups   PIFA Colaba U19 will be  definetley looking to go  an extra mile this season . While in Group B  Indian Cluture Leauge  A will be looking earse of last season’s bitter memories after lossing out to promotion spot  with in touching distance in 2015-16 season.

In group A we have IDBI  who made it to the play offs last season  who will be looking to do one step better than last season by getting spot in super leauge . While in group  F  Vintage Dahisar  and Millwall fc will be competing for the top spot in group.

In group C Borivilians Steadfast fc will be looking to improve their performance after producing mixed round of results in last season.While in group  D We have  GOANS S.A.  India Culture Leauge B fighting for top spot in their group.
