Madanpura S.C & ICL-A settle for a stalemate
On 29th December 2016, in the afternoon of a sunny day a match between ICL – A in the white jersey & Madanpura S.C with their green one took place at St Xavier’s Ground, Parel where they both scored each in the second half which was followed to share a point each as the scoreline read 1-1 at full time.
An early chance missed as the white team kicked off the game at 3:50 pm but the opponent snatched the ball possession well in the 5th minute that was found in the feet of Ajay Kahar who drove the ball with a powerful shot from inside the box but went by just above the cross bar.
What a miss! As the white team earned the ball possession again in the 13th minute Navin D. Negl played some tricks on the left flank crossing the ball into the box which met Fahim Munshi who missed to fire a header from near the right-hand post.
Again, an open goal scoring chance couldn’t be capitalised, as a lovely through ball by Fahim Munshi found Navin D. Negl this time who had cut passed the keeper but the ball went trailing faster before he could strike it on the target and hits it out of play in the 15th minute.

In the 66th minute, Nikhil Poddar pushed a green team player from behind who had a perfect chance to score a goal yet concluded in a penalty. Talha Shaikh stepped on to make it 1-0 for the Madanpura S.C.
A Substitution in the 70th minute got Sunny F. Pereira up front in place of Krunal N. Shellar.
An equaliser in the 76th minute, as a struggling strike from Smith Koli for the team in white made it all square and also was seen to be the last goal of the game as the full-time score went on to be ICL – A 1-1 Madanpura S.C
