Indian Gymkhana comes back from a goal down to defeat Oscar Foundation
Oscar Foundation played Indian Gymkhana on 29th December 2016 played a match held on Xavier’s Ground, Parel at 1:50 pm which led to a 2-1 win for the team in yellow ‘Indian gymkhana’ as they came back to score two goals from conceding a goal early with all the goals coming in the first half.
In the 6th minute, the corner kick was taken as the defenders of the yellow team struggled to clear the ball, Vishal Gupta got a loose ball inside the box who struck a half-volley shot by his right foot which went on the left side of the post giving the red team an early lift.
Soon in the 16th minute, a missed time error from the defenders of the leading side proved costly as again a loose ball was found just outside the box but in the feet of Sumukh Pawar who smartly placed the ball past the keeper in the left bottom side of the post making it all square.
So unlucky! As the yellow team player Sandeep Bhandari tries a shot from the right-hand side of the box but hits the far post in the 22nd minute of the game.
Again in the 29th minute, a defensive error from the Red team as a loose ball meets Sandeep Bhandari again who this times lashes it in the open goal which made it 2-1 in favour of the yellow team who was trailing before.

We saw the first goal scorer of the game Vishal Gupta to concede a yellow card in the 38th min and two substitutions from the red team which got to be the only highlights of the second half.
Apart from that, during the extra time, a promising attack from the trailing side could turn the game around but Jitu Manadarai came on to save a one on one situation which was later cleared out for safety and had them all 3 points.
The full-time score remained the same as the first half which is Oscar 1-2 Indian Gymkhana.
