M.S Police score five past Sunday Boys to win 5-1

M.S.Police registered a resounding 5-1 win over Sunday Boys in the Mumbai District Football Association(MDFA), Super Division match held on Friday evening at St Xavier’s ground, Parel.

M.S.Police raced to a 5-1 victory over Sunday Boys on Friday in the second game of the day. It was all M.S.Police since the kickoff as they looked to take an early lead refusing to sit back. Young Boys were very cautious in the gameplay and that kept the score at 0-0. But it number 12 Nitin Waati who put M.S.Police ahead from the corner in the 14th minute. Number 10 Himket Dembre doubled their lead in the 36th minute. And they were not done yet for the 1st half as number 7 Swapnil Mane scored immediately in the very next minute making it 3-0. An astounding three goal lead. Sunday Boys scored one just before halftime in the 41st minute when Aston netted a lovely goal for them.

But the game looked all in favor of M.S.Police in the second half who were in no mood to let their opposition make a comeback. And they put any chance of a comeback to bed in the 57th minute when Himket Dembre scored his second of the game. A well deserved brace for him. And they rounded off their scoring in the 61st minute when Swapnil Mane scored his second of the game. A staggering 5-1 of a scoreline.

At fulltime whistle it was rejoice for M.S.Police who had a field day today. Whereas for Sunday Boys it only one point from their last two games having conceded eight goals.
