Day 4 Round-up: Rustomjee Kenkre Champions League

The Rustomjee Kenkre Champions League continued from where it left on 24th January with a series of games played in the under-10, under-12, under-14 and the Girls open category. Like any other day at the Don Bosco International School grounds, hundreds of kids displayed their talent in front of their proud parents, who sustained their exuberant support.

Girls – Open Category

Renee’s goal was enough for Scarlet Raptors as they narrowly registered a 1-0 win against Shooting Stars in the Girls Open Category.

Boys – Under 10 A

In the U10 A Group, Amartya Vaidyanathan and Rayaan Pochkhanvala’s brace & Annanjay Daniel’s goal helped Dabang Champs to overcome Knicks 5-0. Amartya and Rayaan’s chemistry stole the show who were on top of their games for the whole match. In the other game, Bombay Blasters scored four past Balmohan as they went on to register a comfortable 4-1 win. Aaditya Varde and Harsh Kadam both netted twice for the victors.

Boys – Under 10 B

FFA outclassed Bajrangi Boyz by scoring eight goals to strengthen their position in the U10 B Group. Ziev Chheda netted another hat-trick while Jaffar Mala (2), Sumeet Kamath and Atarsh Patel also got on the score sheet.

Other results: Superstars (Adam Albuqerque & Neel Saraf) 2-0 FSI, Golden Eaglets 0-3 St. Stanislaus (Parth Sutar, Calvin Fernandes & Atharva Bhandare).

Boys – Under 12 A
FFA (Red) carried their fine form in the U12 A Group by thumping Dynamites 3-0 on Sunday morning. Arjun Jalan, Jaffer Mansoori & Sparsh Pachchigar scored each to complete a comprehensive win.

Boys- Under 12 B
Kings United once again got the double figures in terms of goals when they decimated FSI B 15-0 in the U12 B Group game. Karsten D’Souza who netted hat-trick last week scored five times, whereas Vedant Sawant scored four times, Harsh Naik found the back of the net by scoring a fine hat-trick and Boris Fernandes & Piyush Gupta got one each.

Boys – Under 14 A

Real Mumbai scored 16 goals in their two games on Sunday morning after they registered a 6-1 victory over Thunderbolts and 10-0 triumph against Galactico United. Aryan Masand and Ridge D’Mello registered seven goals in total, whereas Rishabh Joshi scored 2.

Other result: Sidemen X (Sarabjyot Chawla 3) 3-0 FSI B, Demolishers 0-0 Almighty FC

Boys – Under 14 B
Gladiators sailed past FSI A 5-1 after an splendid performance, where Shane Aranha, Shyam Parekh, Jaden Irani, Moksh Irani & Khatib Mohammed all scored one each in their U14 Group B game.
