Day 2: IFS-League of Champions. Andheri Sports Arena

On 20th November 2016, In association with IFS, Young Footballers, IFS-League of Champions (LOC) 2016, the matches were simultaneously played at Cooperage Ground and Andheri Sports Complex Turf which saw some of the best, thrilling, and close matches of the league so far with some fantastic goals from the young and determined kids who deserves a round of applause for showcasing their unique skills and abilities throughout the day.

Under 8
The first match of U-8 category saw Kalina Youngster faced Young Shall Grow in a tight encounter at Andheri Sports Complex Turf. Young Shall Grow held their nerves to emerge as 1-0 winners, courtesy a Siddhant Chilpumrar’s solitary goal.
In the second match, St. Francis D’Assisi High School locked horns against Kalina Youngster, yet again in a close match which saw both the sides producing a competitive match. A lone goal from Prime Bikram Shah was enough to register an important win for St. Francis D’Assisi High School as they continued their fine form.
Under 10
The first match of U-10 category was nothing short than a roller-coaster ride. OLPS Kooh Sports faced Biachung Bhutia Football School at Andheri Sports Complex which turned out to be a six-goal thriller. The match ended in a 3-3 stalemate as both the side shared a point. Shardul Kiran Sanas scored twice, whereas, Patrick Joshua scored the other goal for OLPS Kooh Sports. Meanwhile, Dhruv Sinha notched up two goals and Naman Manek scored once for Biachung Bhutia Football School.
The second match of Baichung Bhutia Football School turned out to be the one to remember as they notched up a 7-0 victory against Kalina Youngster. Naman Manek scored twice, whereas, Advait Das, Atulya Jain, Neev Hanada, Anuj Bhamra, and Siddhant Walase scored one each.OLPS Kooh Sports 5-0 Indian Football School
OLPS Kooh Sports too ran out as winners in thier next game alike Baichung Bhutia Football School. Shardul Kiran Sanas netted a fine hat-trick and Patrick Joshua also got on the scoresheet as OLPS Kooh Sports defeated Indian Football School 5-0 Indian Football School.
Other Results: Kooh Sports 0-4 Lokhandwala Strikers (Aryan Malhotra hat-trick and Ojasya Soham Ulfat), Lokhandwala Strikers (Advay Shetty, Ishan Kripalani, Ojasya Soham Ulfat and Aryan Malhotra) 4-0 Western India United Football Club.
Under 12
In the U-12 category of League of Champions at Andheri Sports Complex, Football School of India met The Sports Gurukul in the opening match. Yohana Martin scored a brilliant hat-trick, whereas, Carvin D’Souza and Smit Ransheware notched up two goals each as Football School of India defeated The Sports Gurukul 8-0. Varun Chacko scored the final goal.
Young Shall Grow also won their respective game after overcoming Western India United Football Club 5-2 in a seven-goal thriller. Malla Anirudh was on superb form as he scored four goals, whereas, Azmeer Shaikh netted the fourth one. For Western India United Football Club, Aaditya Chhatre and Parth Sanghai scored one each.

Under 14
In the U-14 category at Andheri Sports Complex, FuninOsports defeated Baichung Bhutia Football School 3-1 to continue their fine run of form. Shwet Jain scored a brace, whereas, Abeer Pandit notched up the third goal for FuninOsports. Meanwhile for Baichung Bhutia Football School, Ishan Attra scored the lone goal for his side.
Other Results: India on Track (Manan Jain) 1-1 Young Shall Grow (Ishan Das), Kalina Youngster (Kenin Rodrigues 2) 2-2 Western India United Football Club (Debraj Senapati and Aryan Prajapati).
