We are in it to win it: Milind Tandel

Brainy World have been the team to beat in this season’s Colaba Super League and have rightfully earned their place in the CSL Final. Starting off the league with a solid 3-1 win over today’s opponents Kalakaar Indians, Milind Tandel’s men never really looked back and marched all the way to the final.
Having guided his team to the final, Milind Tandel believed his side is over the moon to be here and felt he was fortunate to take part in the Final in the very first season. “The boys are really happy. I would say over the moon. It’s been a good performance by them and I am very fortunate to be in the final in the very first season. It’s an honor”, said the modest coach.
But Milind Tandel isn’t going to allow his team to get carried away and is wary of the threat posed by Kalakaar Indians. “I know we are up against a strong opponent. We must stop their two forwards, Roger and Anil who have the experience of playing at Cooperage and we manage to do so, we will take a major step towards our goal”.
With a full house expected at Cooperage, the Brainy World coach sees this as a great experience for his players and expects them to have a positive reaction to it.
“I am expecting a packed stadium. This is big, almost as big as an I-League game and my boys will cherish every moment of it. But they also know they will have to play like an I-League team and I am sure they will rise to the occasion”.
Being a Colabaite through and through, Milind Tandel is delighted to see the CSL garner such a high level of popularity and thanked Chairman Krishna Pawle and Director Sudhakar Rane for the huge platform.
“I never thought CSL would happen and become so big. I would like to thank and also congratulate Krishna Pawle and Sudhakar Rane for giving me and my players this platform”.
The league has brought the very best out of Milind Tandel and he has no plans to be the second best. “We are here to win. We must win at any cost and we will do everything to win this final. Finals are for winners and we want to become one”.
Milind Tandel and Co. has dominated from the outset. They started with a win over Kalakaar Indians and if they can end it the same way, Colaba will be painted yellow at least for some days to come.
