Super Salin tricks again as Mumbai Customs maul Great Mother S.C.

Mumbai Customs continued their magnificent form as they trounced Great Mother Sports Club 5-0 in the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) Elite Division at Cooperage on Friday, 8th May 2015.
A second hat-trick in as many games for Francisco Salin powered Mumbai Customs against a tough Great Mother S.C outfit.
Mumbai Customs who have been battling a gruelling schedule in the last week, have done well not to loose a single point during this tough run.
That confidence was evident in the way Customs started the game and put GMSC under pressure straight away.
But it was not before twenty minutes, that GMSC cracked under the growing pressure when Praneel Mendon struck the opener for Customs.
The goal boosted Mumbai Customs further as they began to seize complete control of the game.
In the 32nd minute, Customs won a penalty which was comfortably despatched by in form forward Francisco Salin to give Customs a two goal cushion.
Francisco Salin was in again just minutes before the half time whistle, but he fluffed his shot allowing Kartik Puthran to gobble up the tame effort.
Customs were cruising at the break and GMSC needed to step up in the second half to get anything from the game.
But Customs who had won their last five games were in no mood to let loose as they continued to boss the game in the second half.
Customs put the result beyond any doubt in the 59th minute when star striker Francisco Salin beautifully curled his shot into the top corner after being laid off for a shot on the edge of the boz.
The finish had a lot of class in it adding to his already rich collection of goals this season.
GMSC reacted my making a double change post the hour mark when Atish Koli and Veer Motwani replaced Clyde Noronha and Andrew Silva.
But the changes had little impact on the game as Praneel Mendon put Mumbai Customs 4-0 up after tapping in Francisco Salin’s cross in the 83rd minute.
Six minutes later, Francisco Salin grabbed his second hat-trick in as many games when he showed great composure while brilliantly making space for himself to coolly slot past Kartik Putharan and make it 5-0 in Mumbai Customs’ favour.
Super Salin put on a exhibition of finishing which took everyone in the stadium by awe including the GMSC team who looked surrendered in front this skilful front man
Customs registered a fifth win on the bounce at the expense of GMSC who were no where near their best on the day.
But the day once again belonged to Francisco Salin who is doing ever so well in staking his claim for the ‘Player of the Season’ award.
