Sagar M.M register amazing victory over Seven B star

Sagar M.M defeated Seven B Star by 4-0 in the 3^rd division  match of MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) at St Xavier’s ground, Parel on 2nd March 2015.

The game started with disappointment for Seven B Star when their goal was ruled out for offside in 6^th minute. Sumedh Jadhav gave a pass to Rupesh Shirke. Rupesh Shirke ran along with the ball and shot on target but unfortunately he was in an offside position and was denied the opening goal.

Similar incident took place in 9^th minute at the other end with Sagar M.M when Prathamesh Kamble skipped the defender and shot on target from 6 yards but was offside.

The first half was dominated by Seven B Star but Sagar M.M defended well

In 15^th minute Seven B Star’s Sridhar Sakpal shot from 6 yards but it touched the cross bar and went out. It was a good chance for Seven B Star to take the lead.

In the 17^th minute Sagar M.M’S Rohit Chavan gave a throw in at Aakar Racharla who controlled the ball and shot towards the goal but it went wide towards left.

The first half ended goalless as both the teams made equal efforts to score.

The second half saw Sagar M.M open the scoring when Rahul Nigam smashed a shot on target minute after the second half. Rahul Nigam scored a goal from free kick and opened the score for Sagar M.M.

Sagar M.M’s Prathamesh Kamble gave them a commanding lead in 32^nd minute when he shot from the right corner. He skipped players on his way and shot on target as Sagar M.M went ahead by 2-0.

Chinmay Hadkar added to the lead in 36^th minute when he gave a smashing hit on target from 6 yards. Goalkeeper failed to make a save as he dashed against a player and Chinmay Hadkar took chance of this situation and shot on target.

Prathamesh Kamble rounded off a sensational second half performance from Sagar M.M with a fourth goal in the 49^th minute which made it 4-0 in their favour.

With the final whistle Sagar M.M made a good win against Seven B Star.
