Renee Talati’s hat-trick leads St Anne’s to a 3-0 over Arya Vidya Mandir
Renee Talati’s hat-trick initiated St Anne’s win in their 2nd Game in the 1st Division MSSA U-16 Girls as they beat Arya Vidya Mandir, Bandra 3-0, on 30th August.
St Anne’s had lost to The Cathderal and John Connon 1-0 earlier this week and were looking for a win to bring their season back on track.
Striker Renee Talati Opened her goal scoring account in the 5th minute of the game to give a one goal lead which St Anne’s maintained into half time.
The second half started with another worthy attempt by Renee which was caught by the goalkeeper safely. But she got few minutes later she go as she ran from the right wing to score her second goal of the day.
3 minutes later, Renee completed her hat-trick but this time from the left wing as she placed the ball in the far right corner of the post and as the final whistle blew, St Anne’s had overcome Arya Vidya Mandir Challenge 3-0.
Renee Talati, the 13 year old who made her debut in the U-16 MSSA this year revealed, “I’m good at Scoring from the Wings.” Which only sums up why her goals came from both the flanks. While Arya Vidya Mandir have to focus on strenghtening their midfield as they seemed lost during the game.
