Ratan Tata to be the Chief Guest for the CSL Final

The Colaba Super League on Sunday, confirmed the presence of the legendary business tycoon Ratan Tata as the Chief Guest for the CSL Final which is scheduled to be held on Friday, 12th June 2015 at the floodlit Cooperage.

This development comes as huge boost for the Colaba Super League which has already made a stunning impression on the footballing premises of the city in its very first season.

Ratan Tata, the Chairman emeritus of Tata Sons and also the Chairman of the Tata trust has been an iconic figure all in the country for many years thanks to his work to make Tata a household name in the country and also for the brand’s sincere image.

The much illustrious Ratan Tata has been conferred with the Padma Bhushan (2000) and the Padma Vibhushan (2008) titles.

So it is a huge coup from the CSL organizers to get him as a Chief Guest for their show piece event. His presence will be a major boost for the players and the men who work behind the scenes.

Krishna Pawle, the chairmen of the Colaba Sports League expressed his delight at having such a big national icon for their final event. “Firstly we are extremely proud to have him as a resident of Colaba. Secondly, the gratitude with which he accepted our invitation has moved each every one of us”.

Krishna Pawle highlighted the efforts of the Tatas in shaping the youth of this country and felt having him to motivate the youth of Colaba is a huge honor. “He has influenced and worked for the youth of this country and to have him for the final is highly motivating for all of us. He was pleased to know about what we are doing and he readily accepted our invitation”.

Colabites are now eagerly waiting for the big day when Ratan Tata will crown the first Champions of Colaba.
