R.C.F Youth win spectacularly by a 3-0 margin

R.C.F Youth defeated Young United Foundation (Y.U.F) by 3-0 in the in the 3rd division match of MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) at St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on 16 April 2015.

R.C.F Youth got the maximum chances in both the halves and Young United Foundation’s (Y.U.F) made efforts and attempts to strive for a goal.

Young United Foundation (Y.U.F) could have opened the scoring in the 2nd minute by striker Rizwan Siddique, who received a cross from Karan Rathod from 6 yards away, but his shot did not reach the target as it was a slow moving ball and goalkeeper came forward and collected the ball.

Three minutes later Y.U.F’s goalkeeper blocked R.C.F. Youth’s Sumit Chavan efforts by saving his free kick. It was their first chance after the start of the match.

Amit Dave from R.C.F Youth gave a flight to a free kick in the 12th minute. Vaibhav Shetty tapped it in and gave a cross at Shubham Dalvi.

Shubham Dalvi skipped many players and ran along with the ball along the left of the field and shot to the corner from 6 yards. His shot did not reach the goal as the goalkeeper made a superb block.

The first goal for the day was scored by R.C.F Youth’s Arfat Ansari in the 15th minute. He was assisted by the left winger. The goalkeeper failed to make a save and he shot from 2 yards on the target.

R.C.F Youth were leading by 1-0.

Few minutes before the first half the game took a significant turn and the game was being played in R.C.F Youth’s box.

The first half scores were R.C.F Youth ahead by 1 and Young United Foundation lacking behind.

R.C.F Youth played with more attacking energy after the first half.

R.C.F Youth’s Sayoj Das took the ball under his control in 23rd minute. He ran along with the ball and shot from 6 yards. The defender blocked his shot and he fell. Sayoj Das controlled the situation and shot in the direction of the goal but it went wide away from the goal. It was a very good attempt though.

Sayoj Das made up for his loss two minutes later. He flighted the ball from 6 yards and this time his shot landed in the goal. Sayoj Das tried his level best to attain this goal and it doubled R.C.F Youth’s lead.

Young United Foundation missed a clear chance when Ashwin Lokhade choose to pass to Karan Rathod instead of shooting. His shot was blocked by goalkeeper in 30th minute.

In the 36th minute Young United foundation’s substituted their goalkeeper. Sagar Wagmare coming in for Tanay Udyawar.

R.C.F Youth’s Sayoj Das scored another goal in 33rd minute. He gave a chip from 2 yards and the ball turned into the goal. He scored two goals in a row. At this point R.C.F Youth were at 3-0.

In the last minute Young United Foundation got a corner kick. The striker shot the ball but defender blocked the shot and it did not go in the direction of the goal.

The final score 3-0 with R.C.F Youth’s triumph and Young United Foundation losing by a margin.
