M.S.S.A Round-up: Boys under-12 Division I and II

On 9th of December 2015, in the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) under-12 Boys criteria Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School (A) stumbled to a 1-0 loss to Diamond Jubilee High School; while, G D Somani Memorial School lost by 2-1 to Arya Vidya Mandir (A) at the MSSA ground, Azaad Maidan. On the 8th of December ’15 Hiranandani Foundation School (IGCSE) recorded a goalless draw against Swami Vivekanand International School.

The 2nd Division Boys under-12 match between G D Somani Memorial School and Arya Vidya Mandir ended with a scoreline of 2-1 in favour of Arya Vidya Mandir. Arya Vidya Mandir scored two goals inside two minutes to turn the match on its head. G D Somani Memorial School got their noses in front through number 10 Aditya Wadhi in the 8th minute, and looked set to for a win, but Arya Vidya Mandir had other plans; first, number 11 Ishant Ghosh leveled the scoring in the 27th minute, and two minutes later, substitute Akhil Iyer gave his School the lead.

In the 3rd Division Boys under-12 match played on the 8th of December ‘15 between Hiranandani Foundation School (IGCSE) and Swami Vivekanand International School ended in a goalless draw, where neither side were able to provide an opening goal, although both the teams had a hatful of chances to convert a few chances.

Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School (A) stumbled to a 1-0 loss to Diamond Jubilee High School on 9th December ’15 in the 2nd Division under-12 Boys as Diamond Jubilee High School number 19 Tejas Mormare opened the goal scoring chart in the 5th minute of play, which proved to be the only goal of the game.
