J.B. Petit HS hand newcomers Army Public School their first defeat

New entrant to MSSA Girls U-16, 2nd Division Army Public lose to J.B. Petit High School 3-0, in the match held at MSSA Grounds on 27th August.

J.B. Petit’s opening goal came in the 3rd Minute of the game after their captain Trisha Agarwal converted a free-kick into a goal.

The ball hardly crossed the Army Public School Penalty area. The J.B Petit School turned dominant after their first goal and soon the second goal followed as Sanaya Sheth and Vorvi Yarnal started with a 1-2 passing session in which ultimately Sanaya Sheth made a final touch for the goal.

Army Public School had been practising for about a month before their first match today against the much stronger J.B. Petit High School team.

Sanaya Sheth scored from a routine pass as she attempted a Volley kick which went straight in for a goal in the later half of the second half.

As the final whistle blew, the fate was sealed for Army Public School with defeat from the hands off J.B. Petit with a combined goal scored by Trisha and twin goals by Sanaya Sheth.
