Creek View F.C romp to a victory over King Circle United

Creek View F.C came from behind to thrash King Circle United 5-1 in a F Group clash of the 3rd Division of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) at St. Xavier’s Ground in Parel on Wednesday, 29th April 2015.

King Circle United took the lead in the game when Ashish Pawar struck the opening goal for them in the 5th minute. But the King’s Circle outfit failed to keep up the similar intensity allowing Creek View F.C to get back into the game.

Creek View F.C equalized in the 13th minute through Robben D’Souza, but they failed to add any more goals in the remainder of the first half which they dominated.

Creek View came storming out in the second half and it just took them three minutes to take the lead when Siddhesh Kamble fired home a loose ball after the KCU goalkeeper parried a shot in his path.

The second goal completely broke King’s Circle United’s resistance as Creek View took complete control of the game. Dalton Furtado fired just wide of the target in the 30th minute.

But five minutes later, Anthony D’Souza made it 3-1 in Creek View’s favour after he caught out the goalkeeper who came off his line with a looping effort which precisely dipped into the net.

Alistair Fernandes sealed the win for Creek View F.C with a fourth goal in the 47th minute before Anthony D’Souza rounded off a dominant second half display with his second goal of the afternoon in the 50th minute making it 5-1 in his side’s favour.

Creek View thoroughly deserved the victory after they completely outplayed King’s Circle United in the second half.
