Campion School U-12, Oscar Foundation U-14, Rainbow Foundation U-16 and Young Monk Open category advance on the 2nd day of Umbro Cup

Mumbai, 31st October 2015: In the U-12 category, Campion school beat DRFC A 1-0 in a close encounter between the 2 teams. Both had their fair shots at the goal but were unable to score. Aarav Mehra from Campion School finally broke the deadlock to give his team the 1-0 win in the 2^nd edition of ‘Umbro Cup’ 2015, played at Cooperage Football Ground in Colaba, Mumbai on Saturday.

In the U-14 category, Oscar Foundation registered a convincing 2-0 win over Soccer School of Excellence. Akhtar and Kumar scored one goal each for Oscar Foundation. Soccer School of Excellence had their chances but failed to convert. While in the U-16 category, Rainbow Foundation beat Arya Vidya Mandir B 2-1 in a well contested match between the two teams. Aakash S and Aakash J scored one goal each for Rainbow Foundation to help their team win the match. Aryan scored 1 goal for Arya Vidya Mandir B.

In the Open category, Young Monk FC defeated Red Phoenix FC 3-1. One goal each from Shameer Swamy, Gleason Rodrigues and Lionel Fernandez sealed the victory for the team. Ankit Singh scored the lone goal for Red Phoenix.
