Okorogor N Praise scores for Air India

Air India is continuing their good run in the MDFA League(Elite division). Yesterday, they won another game against Mumbai Custom by a solitary goal scored by Okorogor N Praise (29th minute). 9 points from three matches could be very handy for them, but the tough opponents like ONGC and Western Railway are the next. Will the Airmen go all the way?

Air India have capitalised on their Nigerian imports as Okorogor alone has scored 8 goals so far in the current season, ND Opera has also contributed with 5 goals. With the help of both these foreign recruits in the striking zone and the support from half line and defense Air India are looking like the favorites to win the title this season.

An average of 2.78 goals per game, Air India have scored 25 goals in 9 games played so far, 6 in league stage and 3 games in the ‘Super Six’ playoffs. They are still unbeaten,  but the last two games look to be very crucial for Air India.
