Amazing Performance By Western Railway

12 goals in two matches, the first a 7-1 triumph against Mumbai Customs and now a 5-1 win over RCF i.e. Rashtriya Chemical & Fertilizer. It is an amazing performance by Western Railway in the Elite Division Super 6 playoff match of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) league, played at the Cooperage on Friday.

Definitely, Western Railway is now an another hot contender in the race to claim the title along with Air India and ONGC.

A brace from Ravikant Naidu was instrumental and helped Railway outplay a struggling RCF by beating them 5-1, though RCF had a good time in the league matches of their group they couldn’t enhance their performance in the playoffs.  Kenniston scored the 2nd goal for Railways before Naidu finishes well for the 3rd goal, Clayton D’souza was on target as well, Somnath Mondal seemed delighted after scoring the 5th goal and the 6th goal scored by Western Railway came through a self goal. Avinash scored the only goal in favor of RCF.
