MDFA League : Falcon Bros. soar to a record 10-0 win over hapless Lakers FC

Falcon Brothers registered a record 10-0 win over hapless Lakers FC in the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) 1st Division league match played at St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Tuesday evening.

Lakers FC never expected they would get caught in a ‘goal storm’ when they took to the field in a first division match against the young and energetic Falcon Brothers side. Their two strikers Llyod Vaz and Rohan Thomas jointly scored more than half of the tally of goals, Llyod surely had a magnificent day on the field, grabbing 4 goals (8th ,20th ,55th,59th minute). The nippy left footed Rohan Thomas scored a brace (7th,17th minute), while Clyde Antao 33rd minute, Wayne Oliver 46th minute, Saif Rajwani 50th minute, and Justin Nurupel 68th minute struck a goal each for the winners.

With their recent performance the Mazagaon outfit surely look like a force to reckon with in this Division of the MDFA League

Earlier, in another 2nd division match Young Guns (Vikroli) beat Sachivalaya Gym 3-1, goal scorers for Young guns => 1st goal – Neel Vaz 35th minute, 2nd goal – Ganesh Chaudhari 65th minute, 3rd goal – Sachin Gaikwad 67th minute. Whereas Sachivalaya reduced the margin through Virendra Tandel in 40th minute.

In another 2nd division match Catholic Gym beat Dadar XI ‘B’ 2-1.

Catholic Gym => 1st goal- John Fernandes 8th minute, 2nd goal – Amey Kadam 15th minute
Dadar XI ‘B’ => Rohan Shukla 29th minute
