South Mumbai based Sagar F.C. 2-0 win against Maratha united in MDFA 2nd division league

Sagar F.C. a team to be called a unit which has quality players in all the departments, Defens  were on their toes, half line provide those foods which striker easily get digest, goalkeeper stands solid in front of the frame. Youth, full of enthusiastic resulted them a good team to play in MDFA football league 3^rd division. Whereas Maratha united with young talented players, fighting spirit and energy was remarkable but lacked in the sensitive zone.

Though Maratha united ‘s strikers were not penetrative in the danger zone but earlier in the beginning they only got a corner taken by Clintan Zabet, Roshan shilwarkar well adjusted and headed the ball for a goal but Sagar F.C. goalkeeper Vikram arekar punched it away.

First chance for Sagar F.C. in the 5^th minute of first half when Karan akare had crossed the ball and Maratha’s defender got his head on it which hit the bar, the opportunities keep coming if we work on right way and right direction that too comes in very right time to lift the team spirit was the case with Sagar F.C. Their every attempt was so awaking, Saurabh mehar in a centre of the field alone who’s shots was on the target so frequently but could get under the net as Maratha’s goalkeeper Vijit shetty did some fantastic save for his team. Finally in the 24^th minute Chittresh tandel taken shot from the long range took a deflection and the scream of goal all around.  Saurabh was busy in trying his best to get his name on the scoreboard but today it wasn’t his day, later at the end Ganesh tandel scored the team’s second goal which was assisted by Saurabh, it make him little happy this time.

In another MDFA 3^rd division game football club of Mithanagar won with the solitary goal scored by Sidhant shindhe from the 30 yard thunder against Dahisar united football club. Susheil Kadam is a manager of mithanagar, happy with their team performance; they have won 4 matches and a draw out of 5 still unbeaten. Rajesh revadwkar, Pranay Sharma well played, and Sameer dwivedi goalkeeper produced a brilliant display under the bar for his team Dahisar united football club.
