MDFA Super Division: Companeros start off campaign with big 7-0 win

Companeros A start super division campaign with a huge 7-0 win over West Zone while Cheddha Nagar register back to back wins courtesy of two late goals.

Companeros A started off their Super Division Campaign with a dominating win over West Zone to secure all three points in Group B fixture. A horrible defensive performance in the middle of 2^nd half meant West Zone conceded six of the seven goals in the space of 15 minutes. An early goal from Pranit Kadam put Companeros in to dominance but it was after the break that the game took an interesting turn.

After Pranit doubled the lead in the 58^th minute with his second strike of the day, Zeeshan Shaikh made it 3-0 few minutes later. Things went from bad to worse for West Zone as they conceded the fourth immediately thereafter as Pranit Gaikwad strike made it 4-0. Two minutes later, Aksay made it five nil which was followed by another two goals from Zeeshan who completed his hat-trick. The game ended at 7-0 score line with West Zone yet to earn a point after three games.

In another Super Division Fixture of the day, Cheddha Nagar made it back to back wins with two late goals. Both sides came into the game after facing contrasting result in their opening game, while Chheda Nagar registered a 3-0 win, Mumbai warriors came to the game on the back off a 4-0 loss.After holding Cheddha Nagar strikers for most part of the game, Gaurav Adhikari finally broke the deadlock in the 84^th minute of the game to put Cheddha Nagar into lead. Soon Warriors tried for equaliser by putting men forwards with few minutes left, this help Cheddha Nagar to capitalise with a counter as Vishal doubled the lead in the 2^nd minute of injury time to put the game into complete rest..
