MDFA 3rd Division: Footie First FC makes it two wins in a row

Naseeb Reloaded opened their 3rd division campaign with a draw against FC Cosmos. Footie First made it two wins in a row while Boombastic and Millat FC pick easy wins

Day 26 started with Footie First FC continuing from where they left off in the first game. Facing Sagar Mitra Mandal, who started with a loss in the first game, Footie First took the match away courtesy of goals from Karan Yadav, Mithil Kedar and Rohan Jaiswar. Although Richie Carassco was on score sheet for Sagar mitra mandal it wasn’t enough to hold the game

In the second game of the day, Nasseb Reloaded FC played their first game of the season against FC Cosmos in a Group L clash. Akash Shejwat 8th minute strike put FC Cosmos in lead however ten minutes later Anil Pednekar equalised for his side to make it 1-1. Jitendra Sharma was given a marching order in the middle of the game which reduced FC Cosmos to ten men however Naseeb FC couldn’t utilize the opportunity well as the game ended in stalemate.

The third game of the day was between group M teams Lemon Break and Boombastic FA. A dominating performance from bombastic gave them a 3-0 win in the process picking up their first points of the campaign. Vikarm Gupta and Aryan Bhalerao gave bombastic a two goal lead after which substitute Viral scored to make it 3-0 that remained till the end.

In the final Group N encounter, Millat FC scored five past a helpless BVSS FC to open their accounts in the points table. Asif Palli and Al Mohammed scored the first two goals after which Vardhaman came up with a brace to make it 4-0. Aaquib Khan scored the final goal to finish off the game.
