Disciplinary

MDFA disciplinary committee has decided to suspend Shubham Kadam for one year w.e.f from 5th November 2017 along with a monetary fine of Rs. 5000 for playing in two divisions during this season.

After playing for Salcette FC ‘B’ in 3rd Division of MDFA, Mr. Shubham featured again for Boxer Football Academy in the second division of the MDFA league. MDFA will be strictly monitoring these issues and also expects clubs to follow these rules comprehensively so that the professionalism in Mumbai football improves and becomes an example for others.

Few months back, another player was suspended for similar reasons. Manish Gawli, who first played for Sanpada FC then featured again for Chemburites SC without any proper transfers or clearances from club, was suspended for a year too.

MDFA has already announced that strict actions against poor managements of clubs will be taken to improve professionalism in and around Mumbai football circuit
