In a week filled with intense clashes, Mumbai City FC, Mumbai Ultras, Tarun Sporting and Young Guns FA emerged as the standout performers, securing crucial victories in the Mumbai Super League.

The Islanders continued their winning streak, claiming their third consecutive victory against a resilient Mumbai Soccer Prodigies side. MSP showcased a brilliant defensive display, with debutant goalkeeper Jacob Sabu delivering a performance beyond his years. Center-back Amith Chintagada exhibited solid defending, frustrating Mumbai City’s attack for the majority of the game.

The introduction of Jafar Mansoori and Ishan injected pace and trickery into Mumbai City’s gameplay. Despite MSP’s staunch defense, in-form Omkar Talkar managed to break through, with his initial strike saved by the impressive Jacob, only for the rebound to be calmly finished. The final score stood at MSP 0 – 1 MCFC.

Shubham Kale’s precise long ball found Himanshu, who beat his marker to chip the ball over the onrushing keeper, securing a 1-0 victory for Young Guns.
