Steven Dias Returns to Jamshedpur FC as Head Coach of Reserve Team

Jamshedpur FC has announced the appointment of Steven Dias as the Head Coach of their Reserve Team, marking his return to the club after previously serving as an Assistant Coach during the 2019-20 season. With a remarkable coaching background and a proven track record, Dias is set to contribute to the development of young talents within the Jamshedpur setup.

Dias brings a wealth of experience to the table, having recently led Ambernath United Atlanta FC to impressive accomplishments. Under his guidance, the team reached the final round of the I-League Second Division, narrowly missing out on the championship title.

Dias’s coaching prowess was also evident as he steered Ambernath United to consecutive undefeated Mumbai FA Elite Division titles in 2022 and 2023. Furthermore, the team clinched the prestigious Harwood Champions League 2022 and Nadkarni Cup 2023, cementing their reputation as a force to be reckoned with.

Notably, Dias also made his mark on the national stage as the Head Coach of the Maharashtra Santosh Trophy team. He successfully led the team to the final round of the competition, showcasing his ability to nurture and develop talented players.

Expressing his enthusiasm about returning to Jamshedpur FC, Dias stated, “I’m very happy to be back with Jamshedpur FC. I was here in the 2019-20 season as an Assistant Coach and I can proudly say that this is one of the best setups that I have seen for young players in all of India. I want to provide as many players as possible for the first team in the Indian Super League. I’m very excited to train the young players, and I’m here to win.”

Jamshedpur FC is thrilled to have Dias back on board, recognizing the invaluable experience and knowledge he brings to the coaching staff. His return underscores the club’s commitment to nurturing young talents and creating a thriving environment for player development.

With Dias’s expertise and winning mindset, Jamshedpur FC aims to continue its progress in building a strong player pipeline and achieving success in Indian football.

The appointment of Steven Dias as the Head Coach of the Reserve Team reaffirms Jamshedpur FC’s dedication to fostering talent and ensuring a bright future for the club.

With his proven coaching abilities and passion for the game, Dias will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of football stars within the Jamshedpur FC ranks.
