We are confident and in perfect shape: Hasmukh Baria

Nobody gave Kalkaar Indians a chance to make it to the play-offs after their slow start to the season. But Hasmukh Baria’s men kicked on when it mattered the most to find their way to the CSL Final.
After a late winner against Naaz United brought Kalakaar Indians into the final, Hasmukh Baria expressed his delight at being there. “Everyone in our camp is very happy about playing in the final and everyone is eagerly waiting for it. They can’t wait to get on the pitch”.
But the Kalakaar Indians coach was quick to point out the fact that his team needs to prepare well with a change in venue needing his team to adjust and adapt. “The game is at Cooperage and not at the Back gardens and the artificial turf will make the ball move slowly. We must be prepared and quickly adapt ourselves to the new conditions”.
With the likes of roger Sam and Anil Pawar in the ranks, Baria believes the men in red wouldn’t find it too tough getting used to the green Cooperage. “We have many experienced players who have played at Cooperage before and so we should be fine playing there”.
The Kalkakaar Indians coach acknowledged the might of their opponents and stressed the importance of nullifying the threat posed by some of their players. “We very well know who could hurt us from their side. So we must be careful and find a way to stop them from playing”.
But Hasmukh Baria was more focused on his team’s performance than his opponents and he found very little to worry about in their recent displays. “We are playing very well. In our last few games, we looked very good and we haven’t shown any areas of weakness in our play, so that makes me confident”.
Hasmukh Baria believes the atmosphere will be something his players will enjoy and won’t be pressurized by it. “The atmosphere will be amazing and I am sure the boys will enjoy themselves. There will be little pressure since it’s a final but the guys will go out there and enjoy”.
Baria is bullish about his team’s chances and he has every reason to after seeing his side win five on a trot to get here. There is nothing better than momentum to go in a final with and Hasmukh Baria’s men have that in plenty.
With the talk of the Kalkaar Indians peaking at the right time, the peak may very well come tomorrow for the men in red.
