Kasif Jamal’s first half brace for Central Railway was cancelled out by goals from Birjit Soibam and Marven Pereira as the Air India Youth Team showed exceptional character to come from two goals down to end the game 2-2.

Central Railway started the game on a bright note winning an early Penalty. Veteran Kasif Jamal stepped up and sent his shot to the left of keeper to find the net and make it 1-0. The first one came 18th minute, when Samson’s snapshot was saved by Central Railways custodian before their best move of the half coming in the 33rd minute when Keegan Pinto’s strike hit the crossbar.

Just when it seemed like Air India Youths were come into the game, Kasif turned hero again for Central Railway with his second goal to make it 2-0 just minutes of the break. On restart, Air India Youths started out aggressively in search quick goals and were rewarded for their efforts soon when Birjit’s strike found the back of the net.
