MDFA 2nd Division: Pereira, D’Mello score in Castle Boys win
Calvin Pereira and Brendon D’Mello were bang on target scoring a goal each in the first session to help Castle Boys overcome Juhu Strikers 2-0 in a Second Division match of the MDFA League 2018-2019 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel.
Pereira netted the first goal in the 15th minute before D’Mello added the second nine minutes later.
In another match, Judean United struck on either side of the break to hand Companeroes ‘B’ SC a 2-0 defeat. For United, Prakash Singh scored in the 27th minute and Manoj Singh got the second in the 64thminute.
Results – Div-II: Judean United 2 (Singh Prakash, Singh Manoj) beat Companeroes SC 0.
Holy Cross United FC 4 (Shettigar Sachin, Bangera Hitesh, Kavugoli Tanishq, Soares Ryland) beat Hearts FC 1 (Datt Kunal).
Kapadia Nagar FC 4 (Khan Zaid 2, Sonawane Himanshu, Khan Zuber) beat Fire Dragon 1 (Dange Yash).
Castle Boys 2 (Periera Calvin, Dmello Brendan) beat Juhu Strikers 0.
