MDFA Youth League: Comfortable wins for FC Mithagar (A), Our Lady of Fatima
Steadfast and FSI played out a goalless draw while FC Mithagar (A) and Our Lady of Fatima pick comfortable victories in MDFA Youth League fixture.
An impressive second half display gave Our Lady of Fatima a commanding 4-0 win over Oscar SSE to reach second in group A table of MDFA Youth League. Both sides started out evenly with end to end football however in the injury time of the first half, Kaushik Singh found the net to make it 1-0 as Our lady went in to break with a lead. The goal pegged back Oscar SSE as they conceded two quick goals mid-way through the second half to make it 0-3. Rshikesh Thakur struck the fourth in the 2nd minute of injury time to compound more misery to Oscar SSE’s defence.
In the other fixture, Steadfast played put a goal less draw against football school of Indian (FSI) to make it two draws from two games while the latter holds on to the second spot with four points from two games. In a group H game, a dominant first display was enough as FC Mithagar (A) picked an impressive 3 – 0 Victory over Bravehearts. The win was the fourth on the trot for Mithagar as they continued to hold the top spot in group H table. Kelvin’s brace and Osama Mirza’s 20th minute strike proved to be the difference between the two teams
