Kenkre Champions league: St. Stanislaus are crowned the U-14 Champion

St. Stanislaus had to face Real Mumbai for becoming the U-14 champions of the second edition of R Kenkre Champions league played at Don Bosco Matunga School on Sunday 22nd February, 2015. The opening 5 minutes witnessed both the teams casually attacking each other’s post. Things began to change in the 10th minute as the Stanislaus began to aim the goal relentlessly.
First goal came from Kevin D’souza, who scored in the 13th minute for the St. Stanislaus side. Few minutes later he got his second goal and it took the Stanislaus lead up to 2-0.
The Real Mumbai goalie saved a brilliant shot denying Stanislaus its third goal in the 17th minute of the game. But the Inevitable third goal came soon as Chinmay Chavan headed the ball while he stood facing the goalkeeper.
3 minutes remained while the Stanislaus dominated the game thanks to their 3-0 lead over Real Mumbai.
Last corner was taken a minute from the stoppage time but nothing came out of it. Score remained the same as the final whistle blew crowning St. Stanislaus U-14 champions. Real Mumbai became the Runners up after failing to score a single goal.
