Mumbai FC successfully vanquish Pifa Colaba in U-18 I-League
December 23rd 2016, All Saints School, Kalyan: Mumbai Football Club played against Mumbai – Pifa Sports (Colaba) FC. Both the half’s saw three goals each with Arbaaz Nitin Kapadia staring for the Yellow team with a hat trick along with a brace from Sayyad Mohmmed Kashif.
Five out of five defeats for Pifa-Colaba as they are yet to earn a single point in the league, with Mumbai FC earning themselves 9 points in 5 games standing 3rd in the Maharashtra Zone league table.
The first-half scoreline was quite decisive in favour of the Yellow team as they stood 3-0 ahead of the trailing ones.
Mumbai FC had their opener at the 8th minute as Arbaaz Nitin Kapadia’s strike got the first goal of the game. After a gritty trial from both the teams, a promising run from Rohan Harish Shukla down the left flank put in a cross met by Sayyad Mohammad Kashif in the 42nd minute doubled the lead of Mumbai FC making it 2-0. A minute before the half-time whistle Arbaaz Nitin Kapadia with a header confirmed a brace which came from a corner assisted by Rohan Harish Shukla and ensured the half-time score 3-0.

A substitution was made up front for the Orange outfit as they got Omkar Shinde in place of Vignesh Iyer in the 51st minute.
The half-time pep-talk worked a bit for the trailing team as they got on to score their first goal of the tournament in the 61st minute by Midfielder Pruthviraj More who converted it in style with a powerful header in the far post closing the margin to two. PIFA Colaba finally scored their first goal in this U-18 i-League season.
Defender Anderson Mascarenhas from the orange team got to see the first yellow card of the match by Referee Jagjeet Singh Sarabjeet Singh Reen.
Soon when Pifa was trying to get back in the game Arbaaz Nitin Kapadia marked his hat trick with a one on one finish sweetly assisted by Sayyad Mohmmed Kashif in the 68th minute making it four goals to one.
After the 5th goal of the game, there were quick changes made by both the teams with Clavin Rosario Baretto from the leading side & Nehal Shetty from the other side making way for Sanath Valladares & Darpan Patil respectively in the 70’s.
78th minute proved to be the decisive moment as Sayyad Mohmmed Kashif scored his brace which resulted to be the last goal of the game making it 5-1 in favour of the Yellow team.
