Shark FC and Flash FC book their place in the semi final of CSL

On 28th May, Shark FC and Flash FC registered a comprehensive 2-0 victory over Sanchita FC and Shiv Sagar FC, which has also booked their place in the semi-finals of Colaba Sports League (CSL) 2016.
Shark FC vs Sanchita FC
Inform player Anil Pawar once again inspired Shark FC as they romped Sanchita FC 2-0 to book their place in the last four. It took Anil just sixteen minutes to open the scoring which has also taken his goals tally to four in the ongoing edition of CSL.
Both the sides had equal number of chances, but Sanchita FC’s poor finishing once again let them down as they failed to convert any of their five chances in front of goal.
Sanchita FC did had a much better possession but it was not enough to break Shark FC’s patience. With fifteen minutes left, Ajinkya Umasare made it 2-0 after a brilliant counter-attacking football from the boys in blue.
Shark FC defended well in the dying minutes, and didn’t allowed Sanchita FC to create any openings to register yet another victory to finish their league campaign on second position.
Anil Pawar once again got away with the player of the match award, his third of the campaign.
Flash FC vs Shiv Sagar FC
Inspired by Captain Tejas Raut’s brilliant performance, Flash FC went on to register a respectful 2-0 victory over Shiv Sagar FC to qualify for the semi-finals, which was played out at Cooperage Stadium on Saturday evening.
Shiv Sagar’s Deepak Kanojia got the first chance of the game when his effort went inches away from the far post. Four minutes later, Tejas Raut opened the scoring for Flash FC after a wonderful strike from outside the box to score his third goal of the campaign.
Flash FC needed a win to book their berth in the semis, and they just did that when Sushant Jadhav’s brilliant free kick was perfectly placed into the back of the net by marquee player Sagar Bedekar on the hour mark.
There was no coming back for Shiv Sagar FC as they bowed out of the campaign with an unlikely loss. Flash FC finished on 4th to prevail into the next round.
Sushant Jadhav won the player of the match award.
