The development of women’s football is equally necessary and essential for the overall development of the sport in the city of Mumbai and India, and the Kenkre Football Academy is playing their part in it. The Rustomjee Kenkre Champions League has an open age-group for the girls.

The opening day of the tournament saw a hefty chunk of children, who were all charged-up on a Sunday morning ready to showcase what they had in store!

United comfortably dominated by three goals to one; Aaryaveer Podar scored a brace along with teammate Siddhanth Salvi who got himself a goal to celebrate for as Aditya Kalaver’s didn’t prove worthy enough.
