MSMFL enters Penultimate round with Magic Made Soccer just one win away from title.

The Maharashtra Senior Men's Football League (MSMFL) Phase 2 is nearing its close, with Magic Made Soccer now just one win away from clinching the coveted title.

The Maharashtra Senior Men’s Football League (MSMFL) Phase 2 is nearing its close, with Magic Made Soccer now just one win away from clinching the coveted title.

Meanwhile, a fierce battle for a podium finish is unfolding among MYJ-GMSC, MH Oranje FC, AIYFA Skyhawks, and Snigmay FC, as recent results have significantly reshaped the standings.

Magic Made Soccer continues their impressive run, standing as the only unbeaten team in the league. They are now just a win away from the ultimate glory with two games remaining. Their consistent performance has included some really confident wins, leaving no edge for their opponents. They had quite a goal spree over the last two days, with a 5-0 win against Snigmay Pune FC followed by the biggest scoreline of the MSMFL so far, 13-0 victory over Ratnagiri Pioneers. These results have solidified their position at the top, just one win away from lifting the trophy.

Over the last 2 Days, the title race has seen some significant shifts after MYJ-GMSC dropped crucial points in a draw against AIYFA, a result that effectively drained their hopes of clinching the league title.

MH Oranje FC’s aspirations for the championship also took a major hit after they suffered a 1-0 loss to MYJ-GMSC in a crucial encounter. While both teams remain strong contenders for a podium finish, the championship now seems to be Magic Made’s to lose.

The visiting team from Pune, AIYFA Skyhawks, showed some quality football during their Mumbai leg. They notably secured a hard-fought 1-1 draw against the formidable MYJ-GMSC, where Shibu Sunny’s late strike turned decisive for a stalemate. AIYFA also put up a strong challenge against MH Oranje FC, holding them level until the 85th minute, but ultimately conceded two late goals to lose the game. Despite these outcomes, AIYFA turned out to be a team for the top three. They have proven to be a tough nut to crack, and it’s not easy to get a result against them with teams having to grind out for the result.

While for the other Pune outfit, Snigmay FC, in their last encounter at the NMSA, Vashi ground proved entertaining for them as they came back twice to secure a 4-4 draw against the home team NMSA, but things didn’t go their way this time. They faced a heavy 5-0 defeat against table-toppers Magic Made Soccer, followed by a narrow 1-0 loss to MYJ-GMSC.

The final round matches of MSMFL Phase 2 promise intense competition. With all remaining matches set to take place at Hotfut Arena, Bavdhan-Pune, it will be interesting to see how the tables turn in the remaining three matchdays. Stay tuned!
