Magic Made Soccer clinches Maharashtra State Mens Football League Title: An Unbeaten Run to Glory

Magic Made Soccer, powered by Mumbay Football Club, have claimed the Maharashtra State Mens Football League title with a game to spare
The team delivered a string of commanding performances throughout the tournament with an impressive goal-scoring record. Although MYJ-GM and Maharashtra Oranje provided strong competition in the title race, it was Magic Made Soccer who held their nerves to lift the title with a game to spare.
At the halfway mark, Magic Made Soccer had taken a 1 point lead at the top edging out MYJ-GM. However, ahead of Phase 2, sudden downpours and last-minute venue changes threatened to disrupt momentum, but Magic Made Soccer adapted swiftly, keeping their eyes firmly fixed on the prize. Their adaptability was further highlighted with their highest 13-0 win against Ratnagiri Pioneers. This was complemented by a small yet crucial 1-0 victory over MYJ-GMSC in NMSA, Vashi, a win that decisively turned the tables in their favour.
At the heart of this success was Mumbay Football Club’s Technical Director, Zoheb Khan, who spearheaded the entire campaign—from scouting and recruiting players to overseeing tactical preparations. His behind-the-scenes leadership played a key role in turning a promising squad into a title-winning machine.
“All the players worked hard for this title; they truly deserved to win. They went through a lot during these 40 Days. We built a Family, not just a team.” – Zoheb Khan (Technical Director, Mumbay Football Club)
While Zoheb Khan’s leadership molded the squad, the players delivered brilliantly on the pitch. Striking power was evident throughout their campaign, with their dynamic midfielder Arvindraj Rajan consistently leading the midfield line, also netting goals here and there. He proved to be the team’s top scorer with 9 goals, including some clutch finishes that secured crucial wins, most notably scoring the vital goal against MYJ-GMSC.
In this goal-fest, two major names also came to the fore: the young striking duo of Tousif Malik and Rishi Chauhan, who combined for 14 goals overall. Their attacking ability was complemented by a structured and well-balanced defense, expertly marshalled by their skipper and the experienced Kiran Pandhare and his company. Magic Made ensured an unbelievable 10 clean sheets from 13 matches, thanks to their resolute defense line and the sterling efforts of their goalkeepers James Kithan and Yashleel Shah, which was pivotal in maintaining their unbeaten streak.
“Want to thank Mumbay Football Club for this opportunity. It wasn’t easy to play with these conditions. We gave everything on the pitch.” – Bipin Rawat (Captain, Magic Made Soccer)
Beyond on-field brilliance, the triumph was also a testament to strong institutional support. Mumbay FC Chairman Ali Ahmed, whose entrepreneurial vision and timely partnership brought structure and ambition to the club’s Maharashtra League journey. His contributions were pivotal in fostering the flourishing collaboration between Magic Made Soccer and Mumbay Football Club.
