Shreyas Zele Steals the Show with Hat-Trick as Mumbai Ultras Crush Young Boys FC 5-1

Mumbai Ultras continued their dominant run in the league with an impressive 5-1 victory over Young Boys FC. Shreyas Zele took center stage this time, delivering a clinical hat-trick and leading his team to their third straight win.

Just a week ago, it was Joyson Chettiar’s brilliance that propelled Mumbai Ultras to a stunning 4-2 comeback against United Villagers WA. His hat-trick became the defining narrative of a thrilling contest, but little did anyone expect that another Mumbai Ultras is a complete team now. In their latest fixture, it was Shreyas Zele’s turn to shine. Stepping up with equal flair, Zele delivered a hat-trick of his own, driving Mumbai Ultras to yet another commanding victory.

The opening goal came from a well-orchestrated build-up by the Ultras. A precise cross from the left wing found an unmarked Shreyas Zele in the center of the penalty area. With no pressure from defenders, Shreyas rose to the occasion and powered a bullet header into the top right corner, giving the keeper no chance.

As the first half progressed, the Ultras continued to threaten, and just before the break, they struck again. Zele doubled his tally, this time from a set piece. A perfect corner kick was delivered to him, and once again, his heading ability shone through as he guided the ball past the keeper, making it 2-0 at halftime.

In the second half, the Ultras showed no signs of complacency. Shahid played a low-driven pass to Soham on the right wing, who timed his run perfectly to get behind the defense. Faced with a 1v1 against the keeper, Soham unselfishly squared the ball to Ryann, who had an easy tap-in to extend the lead to 3-0.

Young Boys FC found a glimmer of hope when Joy Sarwai unleashed a stunning strike from 20+ yards, beating the Ultras’ keeper Ashray and pulling one back for his side. It was a moment of individual brilliance, but the fightback was short-lived.

The partnership between Joyson Chettiar and Shreyas Zele, who had been instrumental in previous games, combined once more. Joyson delivered a perfectly weighted pass from the left flank to Zele, who completed his hat-trick with a poacher’s finish, beating the keeper to the ball and slotting it into the net.

In stoppage time, the Ultras sealed the game with another well-executed move. Raj Vellpil added the final blow, receiving a through pass from Joyson and calmly slotting the ball past the onrushing keeper to make it 5-1, capping off a comprehensive victory for Mumbai Ultras.

With this victory, the Ultras have now netted 13 goals in just three matches, underlining their attacking prowess as they march confidently through the league.
